Java Unit Manager

Responsibilities

  • Manage and promote relationships with key stakeholders; including clients; 3rd-party vendors and other groups within the organization.
  • Develop and deliver solutions according to the approved works program with adherence to time, cost, regulatory and quality parameters.
  • Ensure daily activity report done and maintain an up to date planning for the team future activities
  • Remain abreast of technology and provide technology thought leadership
  • Train and develop team member capability to improve skills and performance.
  • Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies in accordance with the mobile dev manager technical guidance
  • Model, design and implement databases as necessary
  • Supervise the team, package and performance tests of the software and ensure a level of quality in line with the
    guidelines.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure development guidelines are respected
  • Make sure software documentation necessary for the application is produced
  • Set the objectives of the Java development team
  • Conduct the performance review of his team at least once per year
  • Participate in the hiring process of his team members

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 4 years’ experience with Java/J2EE programming and design
  • Engineering University Degree or equivalent
  • Good level JSF & Hibernate & Spring
  • Good knowledge of the web environment
  • Good knowledge of HTML5 and at least a JS Framework (Experience with HTML5 and CSS3)
  • Average knowledge of N-tier and complex architectures
  • UML design and database
  • Knowledge about servlet containers and application servers
  • Mastering REST and SOAP protocols
  • Perfect mastery of the HTTP protocol and the best-known authentication mechanisms
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written) is essential
