Asir, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – 29th of March 2016 everteam.mea, the leading provider of integrated ECM solutions in the Gulf region, announced today that King Khaled University (KKU) has launched the iPad version of its Enjaz application on the 29th of March 2016 at the King Khaled University.

Established in 1998 AD (1419 H), King Khalid University (KKU) is considered to be one of the leading educational institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, offering the best higher education programs and graduating many of the finest leads that have contributed in the country’s development.

Since its release back in 2014 (1435 AH), KKU’s Enjaz program for administrative communications and electronic archiving, which was provided by everteam.mea, has enabled the university to process and archive over 2 million transactions and 6 million documents. It has also been a great benefit to over 95% of the faculty members, and about 8 000 employees of the university.

Consequently to the great success of Enjaz, and as KKU strives to keep pace with the latest technological innovations, it has renewed its collaboration with everteam.mea and had launched on the 29th of March 2016 its EverSuite Mobile App (iOS version for iPad). This application consists of the mobile version of KKU’s administrative and electronic communications project, which will be managed by the Center for Documentation and Archives.

During this one day event, the university informed attendees of the latest enhancements applied to Enjaz, such as iPad, VIP, E-Template, Follow-up module, and Analytic reports. Indeed, the presenters demonstrated the various project stages, VIP screens, and iPad application. Additionally, a live trial of the application was performed by the director of the university.

Finally, the university’s VP for Development and Quality honored KKU’s implementation team for positively contributing in the successful completion of this project.

In fact, amongst the several benefits that the Enjaz iPad application will bring to the university, is that it will enhance employees’ productivity and simplify their tasks by enabling them to seamlessly and rapidly manage and track, through their mobile devices, the university documents and its private transactions. The application will also speed up the process of searching for and finding documents by categorizing them in an organized and customized manner.

Moreover, KKU authorized signatories will now be able to electronically sign documents on their iPads, even when abroad or away from their offices. This will respectively ensure document security and authenticity, and accelerate the process of signing documents.

“After the outstanding success of the web version of Enjaz, King Khaled University has once again entrusted everteam.mea to develop its iPad application. We expect this project to bring even more impressive results by achieving a quantum leap in streamlining and completing KKU’s transactions via iPads and smartphone devices”, says Mr. Bilal HMEDEH – Regional Manager of everteam.ksa.
